2025 Philanthropy Day Celebration
The 2025 Philanthropy Day Awards was held on May 7th, 2025 at Distribution Hall in Austin, Texas
The annual Philanthropy Day Awards celebration recognizes and honors outstanding achievements by individuals, corporations, foundations and nonprofit organizations whose philanthropy creates a significant impact on the quality of life in Central Texas. Proceeds from the event directly support AFP Greater Austin’s mission of advancing philanthropy by enabling people and organizations to practice effective and ethical fundraising. More specifically, event support enables the Chapter to offer year-round programming, move forward local IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Access) initiatives, as well as scholarships for local fundraisers and nonprofit professionals.

430 individuals came together to celebrate the power of generosity and action. Together, we raised a total of $136,974 to provide-
- Critical education and guidance for nonprofit professionals to navigate challenges, secure more resources, and make their critical work sustainable.
- Scholarships for local fundraisers to attend capacity building professional development opportunities
- A One Day Conference to provide a full day of education and support for fundraising and all nonprofit professionals
- Launch the BIPOC Opportunity Fund to provide needed support to local BIPOC-led nonprofit organizations
