If you haven't already, please take a moment to register with our website. This will allow you to view our calendar and pay for events online. You will also be able to sign up for email announcements about upcoming events that may benefit you. You do not have to be a member of AFP to register.
The mission of the Greater Austin Chapter of AFP is to facilitate ethical and effective philanthropy in Central Texas. The 313 members of the Greater Austin Chapter represent a cross-section of professionals who serve the diverse nonprofit organizations of our community.

Grantsmanship Training Program
The Grantsmanship Training Program conducted by The Grantsmanship Center will be held in Austin on September 8 -12, 2008 at the Goodwill Community Center. Sponsored by the YMCA of Austin and Goodwill Industries of Central Texas, the workshop will be led by representatives from The Grantsmanship Center the oldest, largest and most successful training organization for the non-profit sector. Designed for both novice and experience grant seekers, this five day “hands on” program will take participants step-by-step through all aspects of searching for grants, writing grant proposals and negotiating with funding sources.
Program fee of $875 includes workshop tuition and one year of The Grantsmanship Center membership. Enrollment limited to 30 and scholarships available for organizations with annual operating budgets under $300,000.
